Ram vs Ram
We're back on December 7th with our next episode of Duelling Deejays putting not only one, but TWO outstanding deejays in the booth to create a dynamic that you've got to hear and dance to! Twice the deejays and twice the fun!
Our first Ram, Greg Van Wijk, is a long-time VanSwingThing deejay whom I'm sure you all know. Greg has long been known for his eclectic collection of cool and interesting new tunes. He's also dusted off some of the old classics that he'd like to share with us. Fresh from a recent win at a DJ battle down in Seattle, he intends to inspire you to great dances.
And in the other chair, please welcome back our other Ram, Andre Russo, back to the VanSwingThing deejay booth. Andre's reputation as an outstanding WCS deejay goes way back before he moved to Massachusetts. He's only with us for a few more months so be sure to take advantage of every opportunity that arises. Andre has deejayed for several of the better known international West Coast Swing events and has a reputation for very danceable westie tunes.
Expect to dance to the coolest West Coast Swing music around and come dance with us all night long... it'll be awesome! These two hot deejays will start spinning the tunes at 8:30 pm and will be playing off each other till at least 12:30 am and probably a lot later. You might just want to rest up before you come because you're not going to be sitting around when you get here!
Cool tunes... friendly people... and awesome dancing!
Join us at the friendliest, most non-intimidating dance in town! Everyone is welcome, whether you are an advanced dancer, a newbie, or somewhere in between. We offer a friendly, non-intimidating environment to help you enjoy and share our passion for this dance. We have some experienced dancers on hand to help you, or if you'd just like to have a dance with one, feel free to ask them for a dance. You'll know them when you see them; they're wearing big smiles. Kinda hard to miss!
You'll find that most of the dancers here are very friendly and encouraging, and that they'll dance with anyone that asks them. The odds are they'll come around and ask you if you don't. We usually have dancers come visit us from out of town so you'll see new faces here too. We frequently hear "I love how everyone dances with everyone here".
See you there!
